Corrections, questions about a page, listing enquiries and sponsorship enquiries. We do not accept guest posts, paid editorial or link requests.

Before you write

If you are having a problem after a treatment, do not write to us. Contact the clinic that treated you, immediately. If you cannot reach them, call NHS 24 on 111, and go to an emergency department if you have severe pain, sudden pallor of the skin, or any change in your vision.

Send us a message

Corrections are read first and answered first. If you think a page is wrong, tell us which page and what is wrong with it, and we will either fix it or explain why we have not.

Corrections come first

If something on this site is wrong, tell us which page and what is wrong with it. Corrections are read first and answered first, and we correct pages in place and say what changed rather than deleting them.

Evidence that we have missed something is the most useful message you can send. That includes practitioners telling us that a page misdescribes how something works in practice, and patients telling us that a page did not describe what actually happened to them.

What we cannot help with

We cannot tell you which clinic to use. We have assessed none of them and we do not rank them, for the reasons set out in our editorial standards. What we can offer instead is the criteria guide.

We cannot give medical advice, assess a photograph, tell you whether a result is normal or tell you whether you need treatment. If you are worried about something after a procedure, contact the clinic that treated you immediately, and if you cannot reach them, call NHS 24 on 111. Go to an emergency department if you have severe pain, sudden pallor or mottling of the skin, or any change in your vision.

Commercial enquiries

Clinics interested in the paid listing tier should read the listings page first, including the criteria and what we refuse to list, then use the form and select the listing enquiry option.

Newsletter sponsorship enquiries should read the sponsorship page, including the rules on what a sponsor line may say, then use the form.

What we decline, every time

Guest posts. Paid articles. Link insertions into existing articles. Requests to remove or soften something in editorial. Offers of free treatment in exchange for coverage. Requests to be added to a list of recommended clinics, which does not exist and will not.

None of these require a discussion. The answer is no, and the fact that a request was made does not affect what we write.

No commercial links on this page

This article contains no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no links to any clinic, practitioner, brand or retailer. Nobody paid for it and nobody previewed it. We name no clinic in Glasgow because we have assessed none, and a publication that has not assessed a business has nothing useful to say about whether it is good.

Two archive pages on this site carry a single disclosed editorial link each, and both are labelled on the page itself. This is not one of them. The whole arrangement is set out in our editorial standards.

Nothing here is medical advice. Speak to a qualified clinician about your own case.
